Having spotted a loft conversion in North London previously designed by Gambles Architects, Andy and Elinor Stone approached the firm to design a new loft space for their Victorian terraced house.
The brief was simple: “Please design a state-of-the-art boutique hotel room to stick on top of our home.”
Over the space of the next year, Gambles Architects developed the design in close collaboration with Andy and Elinor. The focus was a clear composition and form with close attention to the tactile and tonal qualities of the materials.
Gambles Architects provided full services from concept through to tender, construction and completion.
